RESCUE HER PROJECT!

Recently I heard a story told from a man that ministers in red light districts of India. He had went to an auction to buy a few things while he was in the country. He had his pocket full of money and a van and driver ready to load up his treasures. The thing was that he wasn't shopping for your typical auction items...what was being auctioned off were young girls and women. This man of God was at this auction not to purchase them for slaves like the rest of the crowd of men, but to rescue them.

He did what he did so often and waited for God to move on his heart as to which girls to bid on and rescue with his limited amount of money. By the end of the auction he had bid on and won 9 girls of all ages. Then suddenly the entire auction went silent and as he turned he saw one of the last girls coming down to the auctioning block. She had been beaten and raped and she could hardly walk to the front on her own. He wanted to help her with everything in him but he was instructed to not touch her because if he helped her, no one would bid and she would be killed. So he watched her struggle to the auctioning block.

The auctioneer started the bidding at a mere $1 compared to the $100 start of the rest of the girls. This man felt God overwhelm his heart and he shouted at the top of his lungs, "I will give $500 for her!" When asked why he would pay so much when he could have her for $1, he said that he wanted that girl to know that she was just as valuable as every other girl there.

It was this story that stirred my heart and TIM ministry to step up and be a voice for these same girls. God has led us to partner with an organization of like mind and heart called Rescue Her.

We want to take a stand against injustice, be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves, and help rescue those that are held captive. We want to raise awareness about human trafficking, and be a place that allows those that want to do something about it to take action. We are ordinary people banding together to see something extraordinary happen.

Our purpose can be summarized in Proverbs 31:8 “speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.” and you can HELP! go to http://www.trueidentityministries.com/RescueHer.html to find out how! If you will be attending a HTID conference coming up, you can purchase a copy of TIM's newest book and proceeds will go towards this project. We can save lives together!
